Brian Langford – Principle Funeral Director and Owner
Brian has lived and worked in the Bradford, Keighley and Skipton areas all his life. He is very experienced in all aspects of funeral care. He is a practising Christian and has been a Church Organist for over 35 years. Brian has vast experience in dealing with the needs of the bereaved and his personal commitment is to provide the very best funeral care to his community at a much more family affordable price is his primary concern.
He is fully trained and certificated in the behind the scenes care for a loved one, which also includes all aspects of embalming.
Brian is an experienced Celebrant and really gets to know your family so that the service is both personal and completely tailored around the life of the person you are wishing to celebrate. Nothing is ever too much trouble and his attention to detail and ability to take all your worries away regarding a funeral is second to none.
Being an organist, he will also play the organ at a service in the event that no organist is available and will not charge a fee as he is there anyway!
Brian is also an expert in repatriation of a loved one to countries such as South Africa, Italy, America and Southern Ireland. In addition, he is also experienced in bringing deceased back into the UK for a funeral service.
Luke Riley–Berry – Assistant Funeral Director
Luke joined the company at the age of 16 as an apprentice Funeral Director. His grandad is a retired Funeral Director and Luke wanted to learn the profession and follow in his footsteps.
He attended Nelson and Colne College combining his studies with the practical aspects of his role. Luke recently completed an Enbalming qualification.
Luke can always be seen at the front of any cortege wearing a morning suit, top hat and carrying a cane. He takes great pride paging a cortege away from our funeral home and into the grounds at the place of committal.
Paul Cook – Assistant Funeral Director
Paul is a married man with three children. He lives in Keighley and is a practising Christian and an active member of the church community. He has worked for the company since it opened and has successfully undertaken his training to become an Assistant Funeral Director. Paul is also trained and certificated in all aspects of the ‘behind the scenes’ care and is a trained Embalmer.
Paul is a Tenor Soloist and many times has been called upon to sing at a funeral. In addition, he was educated in South Africa and speaks fluent Afrikaans and assists with repatriations – especially to South Africa.
Paul is a Deputy Celebrant in support of both full time celebrants.
Richard Kedzieski
A married man with two grown up children, Richard has lived in the Bradford and Keighley areas all his life. An active Jehovah’s Witness, he is very proud of his faith and the Witness community know that their needs will be completely looked after and their beliefs and expectations fully met at their time of need.
Richard joined the company when it was first formed and is a very valued member of the team. He enjoys music, is a fine singer and an enthusiastic actor and performer in his community shows.
